As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

• Security Experience (C115):
  Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience. This experience should be documented and verifiable.

• Valid Driver's License (C123):
  Candidates must possess a valid  driver’s license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements. A copy of the driver’s license must be submitted during the application process.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  Candidates must have prior customer service experience. This experience should highlight the candidate's ability to interact positively with customers and resolve issues effectively.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access as directed by site policy, and assist with traffic flow for deliveries and shipping activities.
• Communicate relevant observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
