Job Description


As a Security Officer Dispatch Communications Security Clearance in King Of Prussia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and help direct appropriate responses to security-related needs. You will provide professional customer service while supporting access control and badge-related operations. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $28.58 / Hour

  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
    Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. Familiarity with security protocols and procedures is essential.

  • Alarm Panel Experience (B202):
    Experience with alarm panel systems is required. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of alarm monitoring and response procedures.

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
    Proficiency in using computers or tablets is necessary. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications and performing data entry tasks.

  • CPR Certification (B205):
    Candidates must obtain CPR certification. Training will be provided free of charge by Allied Universal. Proof of certification must be submitted prior to employment.

  • Customer Service Experience (B219):
    A background in customer service is preferred. Candidates should exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols at an aerospace and defense billing operations location.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel to incidents, service requests, alarms, and critical situations, documenting activity and communicating updates to appropriate site contacts.
  • Monitor incoming calls, radio traffic, and electronic reporting systems; maintain clear, professional communications during routine and emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and support in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and shift records while helping to deter unauthorized activity through timely reporting and communication.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Comfortably use a computer or tablet.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
