Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional Branch Flex Officer. The Security Professional Branch Flex Officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, Education, Finance and more. The Security Professional Branch Flex Officer may be called upon to work irregular shifts at times with little to no advance notice.
Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour
Operate and monitor the truck gate entrance and exit in accordance with facility security procedures.
Verify identification, credentials, access authorization, delivery information, and other required documentation.
Conduct security screening of employees, truck drivers, contractors, and visitors entering or exiting the facility.
Operate walk-through and/or handheld metal detectors in accordance with established procedures.
Conduct screening professionally and consistently while maintaining respect for individuals being screened.
Inspect trucks, trailers, and other vehicles entering or leaving the property when required by site policy.
Verify trailer numbers, truck numbers, seals, bills of lading, delivery paperwork, or other required documentation.
Monitor inbound and outbound traffic and ensure only authorized vehicles enter restricted areas.
Maintain accurate records of truck arrivals, departures, visitors, deliveries, and security-related activity.
Identify and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, prohibited items, damaged seals, documentation discrepancies, or other security concerns.
Maintain communication with the Security Operations Center, Security Supervisor, management, and appropriate facility personnel.
Respond to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and security concerns according to established post orders.
Maintain a professional and customer-service-oriented approach when interacting with drivers, employees, contractors, and visitors.
Prevent unauthorized persons from bypassing established screening and access-control procedures.
Ensure the truck gate area remains orderly, secure, and free of unnecessary obstructions.
Complete detailed activity and incident reports before the end of the shift.
Follow all company, client, facility, and security policies and procedures.
