Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize online resources effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates should possess a background in customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with clients and colleagues. Experience in resolving customer inquiries and providing support is essential.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage manufacturing location.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
