Job Description


As a Security Officer Full Time Customer Service Patrol in Moosic, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while helping maintain a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.62 / Hour

  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
    Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with security protocols and procedures related to employee access.

  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
    Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes basic software applications, email communication, and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

  • Customer Service Experience (B219):
    Candidates should possess relevant customer service experience. This includes the ability to interact positively with clients, resolve issues, and provide support in a professional manner.

  • Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED (C137):
    Candidates must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as part of the application process. This documentation is required to ensure compliance with client specifications.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and report suspicious activity, access issues, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer Service Experience is preferred.
  • CPR/First Aid is preferred.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
