Job Description


As a Security Officer Patrol in Swiftwater, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, manage access points, and provide exceptional customer service to staff, visitors, and patients. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour

  • Security Experience (C115):
    Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience. This includes, but is not limited to, roles in security management, loss prevention, or related fields. Candidates should provide documentation or references to verify their experience.
  • Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
    Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets. This includes familiarity with basic software applications, internet navigation, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly. Candidates may be required to complete a skills assessment during the interview process.
  • Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  • Candidates should have experience with access control systems and badge management, ensuring security protocols are followed.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare-related facility, including interior areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, report observations and incidents promptly, and respond to critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Support controlled access procedures by verifying credentials as directed, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and communicating relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
  • Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
