As a Security Guard Full Time Access Monitoring in COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Monitor access points at a food and beverage location, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor records, and use computer systems to support access-control operations. Provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification, visitor credentials, and authorization for access to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records, and communicate access concerns or irregularities to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and other designated locations to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
