Job Description


As a Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, control access, respond to situations, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled-access areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized entry, while maintaining accurate logs and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
  • Maintain required armed-post qualifications and follow applicable laws, client policies, and Allied Universal procedures related to assigned equipment and duties.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
