This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and active armed certification. Pay Rate: $27.32 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, perimeter areas, parking locations, and access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report irregular conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and follow applicable armed post orders, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
