Job Description


As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Perimeter Assessment Security Clearance in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and active armed certification. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working as part of an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while maintaining awareness of restricted areas and sensitive operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least two years of security-related experience.
  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
