As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter incidents, and support access control activities. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management. This includes familiarity with issuing, tracking, and managing access badges for employees and visitors.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202)
  Candidates must demonstrate experience with alarm panel systems. This includes knowledge of alarm monitoring, troubleshooting, and responding to alarm events.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)
  Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes the ability to navigate software applications, manage emails, and utilize digital communication tools effectively.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)
  Candidates must possess strong customer service skills. This includes experience in handling customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing a positive customer experience in a professional setting.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the distribution location, including parking areas, building perimeters, loading docks, and trailer areas.
• Monitor access points and help maintain orderly entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel.
• Report unusual activity, damaged property, and potential hazards to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
