You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Age Requirement:
  Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). 

• Security Experience:
  Candidates must possess a minimum of one year of security experience (C115). This experience is essential for roles that require vigilance and the ability to respond effectively to security-related situations.

• Technical Proficiency:
  Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). Familiarity with technology is crucial for efficient communication and task management within the company.

• Customer Service Experience:
  Candidates must have prior customer service experience (B219). This experience is vital for roles that involve direct interaction with clients and customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while reporting suspicious activity or access concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately; communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
