As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in North Bergen, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a premier automotive location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by managing entry points, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and monitoring access activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, maintaining entry records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate security-related logs and reports for visitor activity, access exceptions, incidents, and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
