As an Armed Patrol Officer in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $37.80 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Perform armed patrol duties throughout interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
  • Have supervisory experience.
  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
