As a Armed Security Officer Elite Emergency Response in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a retail location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. This primarily driving role requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, observe visitor and vehicle activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
  • Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
