Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing and industrial facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations through established channels.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and applicable procedures.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
  • Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
  • Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
