What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with location requirements.
  • Screen vehicles, deliveries, and contractor access as assigned, escalating discrepancies or unauthorized access attempts through established security-related reporting channels.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to identify irregular conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity in a chemical and petrochemical location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by TSA is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
