As a Security Officer Full Time Logistic Facility Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel and visitors, monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and reporting suspicious activity. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will help deter incidents while providing outstanding service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and report unauthorized access attempts or prohibited items.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and screening equipment; maintain accurate logs and complete required incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
