As a Airport Security Officer: Full Time CCTV in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic airport location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff. Job Schedule:

Requirements 

• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in call taking, dispatching, and CCTV monitoring
• Airport Security Experience: 1+ years
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• NOTE: First two months in this position will be working various posts for best geography and familiarization on airport property

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout airport facilities, terminals, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and government location procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain communication with dispatch and/or site leadership, and assist with traffic, crowd, or emergency response activities as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
