As a Security Officer Clearance Required Patrol Operations in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, manage access control and badge procedures, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and staff. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document security-related activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a shelter setting.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, entrances, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for residents and staff.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and activities, and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
