Job Description


As a Security Officer Credential Management in Marion, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing location. Monitor entry points, verify badges and visitor access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor entry, issue temporary access materials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Help maintain orderly entry and exit operations by directing visitors and deliveries, supporting traffic flow, and communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
