Allied Universal® is hiring a North America Security Manager. The North America Security Manager serves as an internal security operations expert, building and maintaining relationships with client Corporate Security Executives and leadership across multiple states. This position partners with Allied Universal branch offices and corporate support functions to ensure contract compliance, operational excellence, financial performance, and continuous improvement across the client portfolio. The position requires approximately 35% domestic travel to client locations and Allied Universal offices as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Relationship Management and Client Intimacy:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local, regional, and corporate client contacts across all levels of the organization.
  • Serve as a liaison between the client, Allied Universal branch offices, and corporate support functions to identify, analyze, and resolve issues and create opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of Quarterly Business Reviews and client-specific performance updates.
  • Identify and present industry best practices and innovative solutions to client and Allied Universal teams across all assigned locations.
  • Participate in industry-specific professional organizations and events, including ASIS and relevant high-tech security associations.
• Operational Oversight and Risk Management:
  • Ensure contract compliance across all assigned properties and identify security issues, opportunities, and solutions in partnership with the client's corporate security team.
  • Respond to critical incidents and provide appropriate support and coordination with client and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Facilitate coaching, development, and growth for Site Managers and portfolio leadership.
  • Identify client-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), monitor performance, and drive acceptable monthly scorecard results.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement industry best practices to improve security operations and service delivery.
  • Conduct operational audits and analysis of controls to identify opportunities for improvement and mitigate risk.
  • Ensure administrative and operational functions, including payroll, billing, accounts receivable, and scheduling, are accurate and issues are promptly resolved.
  • Mentor managers within the portfolio and establish succession plans for security professionals and leaders.
  • Conduct employee and leadership surveys to assess workplace satisfaction and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Financial Performance and Growth:
  • Develop and manage an annual security budget exceeding $15 million and partner with the client to minimize significant budget variances.
  • Conduct audits and analysis of financial controls related to account management.
  • Manage and own the accounts receivable process for the assigned customer.
  • Lead contract renewal, rebid, and rate increase initiatives in partnership with the client and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Demonstrate strong financial acumen and accountability for financial performance across the assigned portfolio.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Security, Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing multi-national or global accounts.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience building, developing, and coaching teams.
• Experience developing and managing a Strategic Account Plan.
• Experience managing a security budget exceeding $15 million annually.
• Proven track record of excellence in customer service and financial management.
• Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build relationships, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively within challenging service delivery timeframes.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and discretion, maintain confidentiality, and meet established objectives.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented management environment while maintaining a strong focus on results.
• Proficiency in web-based applications and computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to create reports, maintain data, and develop presentation materials.
• Ability to travel approximately 35% of the time based on client and company needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) designation.
• Ten (10) or more years of experience in contract or proprietary security services, law enforcement, and/or military.
• Experience as a Duty of Care professional with knowledge of global Duty of Care programs.
• Knowledge and practical experience applying AI tools and techniques to Duty of Care activities, including travel risk monitoring, predictive threat scenario planning, automated case triage, and intelligent alerting.
• Active participation in industry-specific professional organizations, including ASIS and high-tech security associations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:

• Field environment with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures; site visits may include brief exposure to rain, cold, heat, or other adverse conditions.
• Regularly walk client sites and campuses, engage with security teams, and visit assigned posts and shifts.
• Physical activity may include walking long distances, standing for extended periods, riding in vehicles or golf carts, and light lifting.
• Must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law.

PAY:

• 195,000 - 199,000/yr.
