As a Security Officer Electronic Entry Control in Longwood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic automotive location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor alarm and badge activity, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Through professional communication, routine site awareness, and a customer-focused approach, you will help deter incidents while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive dealership or related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, maintain visitor and vendor logs, and communicate entry requirements in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, vehicle areas, service lanes, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable use of a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
