Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Fri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and daily activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
  • Guard card is required. 
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
