As a Security Officer - Lobby Access Control, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, loading docks, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, helping to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
