As a Security Officer Access Control in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a retail distribution location, where you will manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and communicate professionally with associates and guests. You will help to deter incidents through a visible presence, routine patrols, and attentive customer service while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution center.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry records, and help to deter unauthorized access to the location.
• Screen and direct vendors, contractors, drivers, and other visitors in accordance with established receiving, shipping, and access procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, parking areas, and the business perimeter, documenting security-related observations and concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
