As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Intervention in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with controlling entry to restricted areas in accordance with site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM locations, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed.
  • Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and required logs while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in security-related work, law enforcement, military police, or military service.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
