As a Security Guard Residential Building Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity in accordance with property procedures, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and patrol observations in required reports and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
