Job Description


As a Security Officer Digital Documentation Patrol in Stoughton, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will use technology to document activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with credential verification, visitor sign-in requirements, and the reporting of unauthorized access attempts.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and promptly communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while supporting a professional, customer-focused environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
