As a Security Officer Access Control in Jurupa Valley, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and shipping-related access permissions, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating information to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or conditions requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports related to access control activity, incidents, and shift observations while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
