As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policies. You will deliver exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and innovation.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public response agencies as directed by established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain awareness of restricted areas, and report irregularities according to site procedures.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, patrol documentation, and other required records in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is required. 
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
