Job Description


As a Security Officer - Full Time Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a healthcare-related pharmaceutical manufacturing location.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other prohibited activity by maintaining a professional presence, observing conditions, and promptly reporting concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A Guard Card/license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
