As a Security Officer Access Authorization in Gibbstown, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor alarm panels, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, delivery personnel, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor records, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe entry points, loading areas, and restricted spaces for unusual activity; report access concerns, policy violations, and maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, access points, and parking areas to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
