As an Armed Security Officer in a retail grocery location, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; request additional assistance from Allied Universal leadership and/or public services when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, receiving areas, and other designated locations; verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain required reports and activity logs, documenting observations, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
