What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, clients, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a financial institution.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help manage entry into restricted areas in accordance with established protocols.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and security-related incidents through accurate written and/or electronic reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPO is required.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
