Job Description


As a Security Officer Hospital Foot Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency and/or medical response protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations, and promptly report security-related incidents according to established procedures.
  • Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and location information while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
  • Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
  • Possess proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
