Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, clients, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or management as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the building, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify credentials, and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.
  • Maintain required armed officer credentials, carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws, and complete accurate incident and patrol reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
