Job Description


As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Belmont, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location. In this driving post, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. A valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements is required. You’ll contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying designated personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas, storage areas, and the site perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site requirements.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, facility concerns, spills, unusual odors, and other hazards while maintaining accurate incident and patrol records.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
