As a Custom Protection Officer Full Time Overnight in Baltimore, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activity, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing updates with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and report issues involving visitors, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.
• Support order at the location by following post instructions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with security-related requests during routine operations and/or shift changes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must possess one or more of the following:
  • Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat Zone
  • Graduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter field
  • Bachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studies
  • A minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branch
  • Associate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
