Job Description


As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Response in Renton, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location as an unarmed driving patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access and property presence, and help to deter security-related incidents through visibility, communication, and customer service. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work with a caring team, and act with integrity while serving tenants, guests, and staff.

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and sharing information through proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor access to the location by observing entrances and exits, verifying authorized access when required, and reporting suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations.
  • Support daily operations by completing incident reports, communicating with property management and/or first responders as needed, and following post orders for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
