As a Security Armed Officer Hospital Patrol Unit in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $41.00 - $42.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an education location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professional armed post standards.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeter locations, with attention to changing conditions and access activity.
• Support access control efforts by monitoring entry points, checking credentials when required, and reporting unusual activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and/or interactions with students, staff, visitors, and local responders in accordance with site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Concealed Carry Weapons Permit is required.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
