You will support riders, visitors, and staff through strong customer service and communication while bringing integrity, reliability, agility, and teamwork to every shift in a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $29.93 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and public agency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and public areas for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues, and report concerns through appropriate channels.
  • Assist with directing the public, providing information, and supporting orderly operations during routine activities, service disruptions, and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A handcuffing certification is preferred.
  • A CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
