As a Security Officer Patrol Dispatcher in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and sharing information with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, exits, common areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor assigned areas for shoplifting indicators, unauthorized entry, and/or other security-related issues, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Support closing and opening routines, crowd management, and/or after-hours checks as directed for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
