As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Desk in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor activity from a stationary post, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this people-first role, you will use communication, teamwork, and integrity to help create a welcoming presence while responding to site needs in an agile, reliable, and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor check-in and/or sign-in processes, and assisting with access control activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and clear communication.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Answer phones, assist employees, visitors, and delivery personnel with directions and information, and support security-related documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Observe onsite activity from the front desk and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders when appropriate to support timely response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
