Job Description


As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Spearman, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform vehicle patrols in accordance with driver policy requirements, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver strong customer service and communication while supporting a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and grounded in integrity and a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper communication channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, access points, and perimeter zones, helping to deter unauthorized activity and unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and support security-related screening practices in accordance with site requirements.
  • Support incident response and preparedness efforts by maintaining awareness of potential hazards common to an industrial chemical location and following post orders during escalated events.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
