As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Fernley, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and support access activity while serving in a driving post. Your visible presence and strong communication help to deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming experience. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Support order at the location by following post instructions, completing assigned reports, and helping to deter disruptions through a visible presence and consistent observation of the work environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
