As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology and telecommunications location as a Front Desk professional, helping to monitor access, welcome visitors, manage badges, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, greeting visitors, verifying access permissions, and directing guests, vendors, and/or employees as appropriate.
  • Monitor lobby and reception area activity, maintain awareness of security-related concerns, and report unusual behavior, incidents, and/or facility issues in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Support access control functions by checking identification, managing visitor logs, issuing temporary credentials, and communicating with site contacts regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or scheduled appointments.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and/or critical situations with professionalism, document relevant details, and assist with emergency response activities according to location protocols.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and disruptions at this technology and telecommunications location through attentive front desk presence, clear communication, and consistent application of post orders and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
