As a Security Officer Residential Armed Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to property management and/or local authorities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance, access control, and other property-related issues.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas while maintaining an armed post in accordance with site policies, Allied Universal standards, and applicable regulations.
• Support daily operations by assisting with visitor interactions, observing tenant and contractor activity, and communicating clearly with site contacts regarding incidents, policy questions, and/or unusual conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
