Pay Rate: $20.06 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Staff the front desk and assist employees, visitors, and contractors with access procedures, visitor processing, and general site information in a professional manner.
  • Monitor lobby activity, phones, alarms, and camera systems, and report unusual activity, incidents, and maintenance concerns according to site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Support badge verification, package and delivery coordination, and recordkeeping for daily front desk operations while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
