What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor management activities, and/or emergency response support as appropriate for the location.
  • Monitor front desk activity, greet associates, members, guests, and/or vendors, verify access permissions, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to site leadership and/or first responders when needed.
  • Maintain awareness of lobby and entrance activity, support access control functions, and report unusual behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to help to deter disruption at the location.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and communication records accurately and promptly, while supporting a professional front desk presence at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be 21+ years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
